Dr. Beth D Vander Schaaf
Dr. Vander Schaaf was born and raised in St. Louis.
She attended the University of Iowa and attained her
Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology. She
was accepted into and graduated from The University
of Iowa College of Dentistry, receiving her dental
degree in 1993.
Upon graduation, Drs. Vander Schaaf and Beischel
established their practice in South Scottsdale. The
Doctors were married on New Years Eve 1994 in St.
Louis and reside in Phoenix. They have two sons,
Lyndon and Lars and two daughters, Lara and Liv.
Dr. Vander Schaaf continues a family legacy in
the dental profession. Her grandfather practiced
General Dentistry for nearly fifty years and was an
instructor at St. Louis University. Her uncle is an
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Honolulu, Hawaii
and her sister is a Hygienist.
Dr. Vander Schaaf is a member of the American
Dental Association (ADA) and is active with the
Arizona Dental Association (AzDA.) She has served in
the delegate capacity for several years and is
currently a Central Arizona Dental Association
Director. She is also a member of the Academy of
General Dentistry (AGD) and is proud to be a F.A.C.E.
graduate, The Foundation for Advanced Continuing
Education. Dr. Beth has been a volunteer dentist at
the St. Vincent dePaul clinic and at the J.C.
Lincoln Children’s Dental Clinic for eleven years.
Dr. Beth works hard between her passions of
dentistry and motherhood. She has a green thumb and
enjoys gardening, tennis and exercising the family
German shepherd dog Kade. She also enjoys traveling
and visiting with her family who are spread out over
ten states, four countries and two continents.
